Radical Number Line

Standard

In this activity, students create their own radical number lines. These lines can then be used to compare and order radicals.

This activity grew out of a lesson study we did a few years ago. Students create a Pythagorean spiral, then cut it out, and use the triangles to create a number line. The entire process is explained on my blog.
